The GY-6S battery level indicator helps you to check the charge level of batteries or accumulators. The tester allows you to determine the degree of charge of common types of batteries. The measurement results are displayed digitally on the LCD screen. Readings are displayed in Volts, percentages and a graphic scale.

There are two buttons for settings in the GY-6S version: settings (gear image), function (circular arrow).
Setup procedure:
Power off the module. Press and hold the "settings" button. Plug in the power.
The first menu for selecting battery type and number of cells is displayed. Use the "Settings" key to select the type of battery: P - lead acid, L - lithium ion, P - lithium iron phosphate. Press the "function" key to confirm. Next, use both buttons to select the number of cells connected in series.
Now, to enter the additional menu, you need to hold down the "function" button for more than 3 seconds.
To navigate between menu items, you need to use the "settings" button, and to change - the "function" button. The selection indication is displayed on the graphic bar.
To save the settings and return to normal mode, simply reconnect the power.
Additional settings:
5-1 (S1) Cycle display of charge percentage and voltage.
5-2 (S2) Sleep mode after 10 sec. inactivity.
5-3 (S3) Backlight on/off
5-4 (S4) Logo display (may not be used)
5-5 (S5) Switch between two methods (curves) to determine the battery charge versus voltage.
