Designed to repair breaks in conductive loops of personal computer keyboards, printed circuit boards and alarm systems; restoration of contact pads on electronic equipment boards (in remote controls, in mobile phones, etc.); to create an antistatic coating for radio electronic equipment (CEA) cases. It is also used in electroplating and for the restoration of heating elements in automotive glass.
MODE OF APPLICATION:
1. Determine the place of the rupture visually or using an electric probe.
2. Clean, degrease and dry the area to be repaired.
3. Install the self-adhesive stencil, aligning the slot with the area to be repaired.
4. To the bottle labeled “component 2” add the contents of the bottle “component 1” and mix thoroughly with a spatula (which is a thin flat screwdriver).
5.Apply the freshly prepared conductive varnish with a spatula or disposable syringe, overlapping the edges of the intact areas on both sides by 0.5 cm.
If necessary (to increase the equivalent cross-sectional area of the conductor at high operating currents), repeat the application with intermediate drying for 5 - 10 minutes (close the bottle; take into account that the drying time at low temperatures increases).
After complete drying, carefully remove the stencil. You can now turn on the rear window defroster.
A hair dryer can be used to speed up the drying process.
6. In cars, in order to increase the reliability of the electrical connection obtained, it is recommended to apply a last thin protective varnish coat. This will increase the corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and heat resistance of the joint. You can use organosilicon, polyurethane or BF varnishes.
Conductive varnish, depending on the task, can also be applied by dipping and spraying. Add acetone to reduce viscosity.
Precautions are the same as when working with auto enamel and other paintwork.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Drying time: at room temperature - after 3 minutes. "Grabs", after 90 minutes. dries completely.
Heat resistance: up to +100°C
The electrical resistance of a freshly prepared (up to 50 min.) Varnish is close to metal films, does not exceed units of Ohm and is inversely proportional to the strip width and the number of layers.
A delay in application of more than 50 minutes after mixing the components leads to an increase in the resistance of the dried varnish layer by 10 or more times.
Delivery set: two plastic bottles with components, instructions.
Net weight: 10g.
The shelf life of the kit (before mixing) in a sealed package is unlimited under normal conditions (temperature not higher than+25°C).
