Microprocessor control of the station's operation allows the station to implement such functions as password-locking access to settings, calibrating the temperature of the soldering iron tip in the range from -99 to +99°C with an accuracy of 1°C, indication of failure of a heating element or temperature sensor.
The ceramic heating element of the 108ESD soldering iron has increased power to meet the requirements for soldering lead-free components, has an increased service life, the built-in PTC thermistor allows you to control the temperature with an accuracy of ±3 C.
The soldering iron nozzles (tips) structurally coincide with the tips previously used at 136ESD, 137ESD stations, as well as on soldering irons of similar designs from other manufacturers' stations (Lukey, ProsKit, AOYUE, SAIKE, etc.)
The power cord of the soldering iron is made of heat-resistant silicone, not damaged if accidentally touched by the hot tip of the soldering iron.
As an additional option, the TWZ-80 thermal tweezers are available, which can be connected instead of a soldering iron. The tweezers use two parallel-connected ceramic heaters with a total power of 80 W (2 x 40 W) with built-in PTC temperature sensors.
The hot tweezers are used to dismantle CHIP components, as well as microcircuits in SOP, SOIC, SOJ, DIP and other packages with double-sided parallel pinout.
