Conductive copper-based protective coating with silver additive. It is used as a shielding coating for protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD), for the manufacture of contact connectors. Spray 200 ml.
EMILAC is a conductive varnish based on fine copper powder with the addition of silver.
Adequate shielding effect of the varnish is achieved by applying a thinner layer in comparison with traditional means - for example, copper foil. For a good result, a layer of EMILAC with a thickness of only 40-75 microns is sufficient. At the same time, applying varnish is much more technological than installing foil screens.
Conductive varnish has high adhesion to plastic, glass, metals and other materials.
Copper varnish EMILAC Cramolin aerosol is easy to use, quick-drying.
Retains its properties (conductivity) under difficult operating conditions, in a wide range of temperature and humidity.
Properties:
application method: dipping, spraying
color: copper
filler: silver plated copper
lacquer base: polyacrylate resin
density: 1.04 g/cm³

Attenuation: (ASTM ES 7-83): 60 - 65 dB (at 50 μm film thickness)
coverage area: 4 m 2 /l (with a film thickness of 50 microns)
recommended coating thickness: 40 - 75 microns
operating temperature range: -40°С -+95°С
Purpose
protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD)
use in electronic laboratories to protect data processing devices, measuring technology and other equipment
car electronics service
production of contact connectors
shielding of plastic cases, boxes and casings
corrosion protection for aluminum enclosures
Directions for use
The surface to be protected must be free from dirt, grease, wax, silicone. Shake the can well before use. Apply the aerosol by spraying from a distance of approximately 30 cm, otherwise drips may form on the surface. The clogged nozzle is flushed with solvent.
The varnish used for dip coating can also be used for spray application when thinned with THINNER FOR EMILAC in a ratio of 1: 4. The varnish must be thoroughly mixed so that the pigment is evenly distributed throughout the volume.
