Recommendations for use:

• for a solid and waterproof connection of wires and cables (for example, repairing a submersible pump cable);
• in the power industry to restore the insulation of cables with voltages up to 69 kV;
• in telecommunications to improve the insulation of joints insulated with PVC tapes and the sealing of cable glands;
• for the protection of outdoor telecommunications equipment (TV-SAT).

The tape does not contain any glue. After removing the protective layer, it is completely ready for use. The tape should be applied with slight tension to ensure a snug fit. The tension leads to vulcanization of the contacting layers of the tape, which provides good electrical and waterproofing.

It is recommended to stretch over the layer of self-vulcanizing tape with a layer of ordinary PVC tape to improve the self-vulcanization process.
