Hot cutting tool for foam, extruded polystyrene foam and similar materials.
Recommended for works on foam insulation of houses. During hot cutting, the foam does not crumble, the cut surface is smooth and reinforced with a layer of molten polystyrene foam.
The cutter blade, which is also the heater, is a round stainless steel rod with a diameter of 3 mm.
At the end of the handle there is a power supply connector (standard 5.5/2.1 mm coaxial power connector).
It is recommended to use a regulated AC or DC power supply. The operating voltage range of this model is from 8 V to 12 V, the current consumption is up to 4 A.
By regulating the supply voltage, the required heater temperature is set, required for a particular type of material and ambient temperature. Those. the required voltage is selected by trial in the process.

Hot knives are not guaranteed! All copies are 100% tested, i.e. they are known to be working properly.
The lack of warranty is due to the fact that a hot knife has no protection against overheating and accidentally exceeding the recommended voltage will cause the heater to burn out.
