A gun for welding plastic differs from conventional construction hair dryers primarily in the small diameter of the heater body (ie, the barrel, if you can use the “gun” terminology).
The diameter of the barrel in the middle part is 32 mm, length is 130 mm. These dimensions allow you to place the hair dryer at the desired angle, even when working in awkward, hard-to-reach places.
Also, relative to construction “brothers”, this hair dryer has a reduced nozzle diameter - only 15 mm (inner diameter). In many cases, the smaller diameter nozzle will not even be needed. The set includes two reducing nozzles with a diameter of 8 mm, a length of 32 mm and 40 mm.
The body and barrel of the hair dryer are completely metal, nickel-plated.
The air temperature control knob is located at the rear end of the case, in the center of the air intake grille.
The plastic soldering hair dryer can also be used as a radio-mounted hair dryer for desoldering components, shrinking the heat shrink tubing.
