Laser rangefinders, in comparison with ultrasonic ones, work more accurately and correctly, they can measure distances near interference (for example, next to columns, poles and other objects limiting visibility), if only there is a line of sight from point to point of measurement. In this case, ultrasonic devices often “confuse” a nearby object with an end point.
The accuracy of the laser rangefinder is also significantly higher.
