The main difference of this meter from previous versions is the extended capabilities for in-circuit ESR measurements.
In modern technology, electrolytic capacitors are often shunted with an inductance of less than 1 μH and ceramic capacitors up to 50 μF.
In normal mode, the meter is not able to detect a faulty electrolytic capacitor without desoldering. For these purposes, an in-circuit analyzer function has been added.
The analyzer detects non-linear areas when the measured capacitor is charged (a good capacitor is charged linearly).
Next, the estimated deviation is calculated mathematically and added to the value ESR (Rx) = aESR (a). The display also shows the value aESR (a). This function is most effective when measuring capacities above 300μF.

In C/ESR mode - allows to carry out measurements WITHOUT dismantling the element.
Usup battery indication in the bottom line on the right in C/ESR mode.
Automatic shutdown - about 4 minutes (in ESR-2min mode). After the idle time, the inscription "StBy" lights up and within 10 seconds, you can press any button and the work will continue in the same mode.
To avoid damage to the device, DISCHARGE THE CAPACITOR TO BE MEASURED before checking!
