The board is a Bluetooth 4.0 module that allows you to easily create a wireless connection between your MC and PC. The module is based on the CC2541 Bluetooth Low Energy Chip.
The CC2541 IC is similar to the CC2540 and is compatible with it in case and most of the characteristics. Of the differences, it should be noted that there is no USB interface, which in most cases is not needed in a peripheral battery device.
Instead of USB, a hardware I2C interface is implemented, with which you can connect many types of sensors. The transmitter output power has been reduced to keep the current consumption within the disc cell specification.
