This constructor was created on the basis of the project
Twilight relay... The constructor contains the entire set of parts for assembling one twilight relay board. The board was designed for installation in an AUO (
the blackor
transparent).
This device is used for automated day-night lighting control. The relay is made according to the classical scheme, a capacitor power supply, from an alternating current of 220 volts. Relay for 24 volts - to reduce the current consumption of the device. The whole innovation lies in the use of a PIC controller. This gave the minimum number of external components, which speeds up and simplifies assembly, as well as additional functions in the work. Classic relays on operational amplifiers mainly provide one function, this is the turn-on hysteresis (and even then not always). The controller allows you to add a couple more functions that are necessary in the operation of the twilight relay.
This device can operate in the instantaneous switching mode when the level of the specified illumination decreases, and with delays after changing the illumination levels.
The operating modes are selected using the jumper, if it is off, the delay is off, when dressed - on. Also, with the jumper removed, the twilight relay threshold is adjusted to the desired illumination threshold by rotating the trimming resistor on the board.
Delay mode on and off lighting.
If the light level has dropped to the switch-on level, a timer is activated in the controller, for example for about 3.5 minutes. After the expiration of the time, if the illumination level corresponds to the switch-on level, then the illumination turns on, otherwise we wait until the illumination level is stably low. The timer allows, for example, to get rid of the effect of "car headlights" - when advertisers have to install a light sensor so that the light from a road vehicle does not turn off advertising.
