The RT-2040 burning kit is a great way to spend your leisure time, and in some cases, an original method for decorating products from leather, wood and some other materials. The electric burner is a heating element located in a housing with a comfortable handle. The RT-2040 burner is actually a contact soldering iron, only with a lower power (30 W). The set also includes a brush, six colors of paints and seven interchangeable nozzles: straight, oblique, conical, thin, three types of curly.
The first thing to start with is preparing the workplace. Remove any unnecessary items, especially flammable items and paper. Next - sand the work surface and draw the outline of the image on it with a pencil. In order for the electric burner to be ready for use, it takes 3 to 5 minutes of heating. You can now trace the outline drawn earlier with a red-hot sting of the scorcher. During operation, the electric burner should be placed only horizontally or on a special stand.

Useful Tips
- Before burning out - we grind the surface,
- We draw the outline of the drawing with a pencil or carefully translate it using a "carbon copy".
- Drawings can be found in special albums for burning, as well as in albums for sawing and coloring,
- To carry out the burning of an ornament or repeating contour drawings, you can use stencils that were previously cut from plywood or cut from thick paper,
- Test images must be burned with dots. By experimenting with the density, size and depth of the points, you can achieve different artistic effects - the volumetric image, the play of light and shadow.
- Wood species such as chestnut, alder, linden or poplar are best suited for burning. They have a light surface with a uniform smooth texture.
It is very important that the workpiece is well lit. In addition, the work surface should be located at a distance of 30–35 cm from the eyes and at a slight angle in relation to the table. In the course of work, the air in the room can be smoky, as the wood is charred from high temperatures. Therefore, you should regularly ventilate the room. Also, during burnout, vision can get tired - take breaks every 20 minutes.
Do not let children work unattended!
It is forbidden to use the electric burner for leatherette products and plastic surfaces!
