Bimetal crown (cifenbor) is a tool for drilling through holes of large diameter in sheet steel, non-ferrous metals, wood, chipboard, plywood and plastic. It is also called a core drill or core drill.
The crown is made of tool steel and the cutting edge of the blade is made of high speed steel P2M10K8 with 8% cobalt content. Cobalt contributes to extreme wear resistance and long tool life.
Smooth edges and a straight cut are ensured by precise drilling around the circumference and aggressive tooth pitch with variable pitch. Maximum drilling depth 38 mm. For deep drilling, chips are removed through the holes in the sidewalls.
To keep the tool in service for a long time, use coolant (cutting fluid) and do not exceed the recommended speed.
Make precise and clean holes with a bimetallic metal bit.
