The W5500 network module is an Ethernet controller with an SPI interface based on the W5500 chip from the Korean company WIZnet, it is a newer model of its predecessor W5100. The module also has a chip strap, a 3.3 V stabilizer and an RJ45 connector with a matching transformer. Using this module, you can transfer data both over the local network and over the Internet. The module can be powered from both 3.3 V and 5 V. Logic levels on the information pins are 3.3 V, but they are tolerant to 5 V levels, which means you can connect it to Arduino operating from both 3.3 V and from 5 V.
