  The electronic thermostat EW-181H measures and automatically maintains the temperature of the working environment within the specified limits, by turning on or off external heating (heating element, oven, heater) or cooling (freezer, fan, peltier module) units. 
The actuator of the thermostat is a two-position relay for 1 channel. The relay has two positions: default closed contacts and default open contacts.
 
  The sensor is a 20kOm NTC thermistor in the well. The length of the sensor with a wire is 1.4 m.
  There is a start delay, temperature calibration, hysteresis setting.

Connection, indication and setting of the thermostat.
Connection and temperature setting:
  • Connect power to terminals 7-8. Temperature sensor at 10-11. Relays on terminals 1-2-3 according to the diagram on the body. The display will show the current temperature of the sensor.
  • Briefly press the "SET" button. You are in the mode of setting the preset temperature for switching off (switching on) the relay.
  • Use the arrow buttons to set the required temperature.
  • After selecting, wait without pressing any buttons for 5-6 seconds. The display will return to showing the current temperature. 
If the display shows the symbols "E1" or "E2" when switching on or during operation, check the sensor connection for a cable break or short circuit. 

Advanced thermostat setting:

  1. Connect the power supply.
  2. Press the "SET" button and hold it for at least 5 seconds. One of the symbols for the settings menu appears on the display. You are in parameter setting mode. 
  3. Use the arrow buttons to select one of the options in the setup menu.
  4. Briefly press the "SET" button. You are in parameter editing mode.
  5. While holding down the "SET" button, use the arrow buttons to set the parameter.
  6. Release the "SET" button, press any of the arrow buttons. You have exited parameter edit mode. The parameter is saved. You can proceed to editing the next parameter.
  7. To exit the parameter setting mode in the settings menu or when editing a parameter, it is enough not to press any buttons for 5-6 seconds.
  8. The display will show the current temperature at the sensor.

HC - sets the operating mode for cooling or heating ("C" or "H").
LS - the lower limit of the thermostat actuation setpoint
HS - the upper limit of the thermostat actuation setpoint
Pt - sets the device start delay in the range from 0 to 5 minutes.
CA - sets the temperature correction. (This parameter is used when the sensor has a long cable and the extra cable length affects the true value of the read temperature.) The sensor can be calibrated, for example, by boiling water at 100 ° C or by melting ice at 0 ° C
d - sets the hysteresis parameter ...(The difference between the temperature at which the thermostat turns on the load and the temperature at which it turns it off again is called hysteresis. Without this hysteresis, the thermostat would turn the load on and off almost every second.)
