Corresponds to GOST 10902-77.
The high content of cobalt Co in the alloy (about 5%) significantly increases the performance and durability of the drill, even compared to a titanium surface coating. Doping with cobalt also increases red hardness (the ability to withstand overheating without deterioration).
Additional hardening coating with titanium nitride.
The step drill is intended for drilling of sheet steel, non-ferrous metals, plastic.
Made of tool steel, the drill is coated with titanium nitride (yellow coating) to increase the resource.
The shank of the drill is hexagonal 1/4" (6.35 mm), corresponds to the installation size of the bit holder of the screwdriver.
