PETG (PETG, coPET) is an abbreviation for polyethylene terephthalate glycol, a highly resistant plastic made from polyethylene terephthalate with the addition of glycol (international designation PET-G).
PETG plastic has a pleasant glossy appearance. Despite the flexibility and elasticity in their original form, the printing process produces parts that are strong, impact-resistant, weather-resistant and can withstand most aggressive environments.
Based on our experience working with PETG plastic, it was noticed that PETG plastics still absorb moisture from the air. After prolonged storage it is recommended to dry. As a rule, if more than 2 months have passed from opening the package to the next use, it is recommended to dry the plastic. We recommend drying for 4 hours at 60°C. Print quality will improve significantly after drying.
It is possible to issue an invoice with VAT. For more information, write to deni.voron@gmail.com
