The measuring part of the device follows the ESRmicro 4.0 circuitry. This model uses a Microchip PIC18F45K20 microcontroller, a display from a NOKIA 1202 mobile phone is used as an indicator. The scale of the device is divided into three ranges with automatic selection of the measurement range.
Measurement currents for ranges 0.3mA, 3mA, 30mA.
Fast measurement of capacitance and ESR of capacitors. The measurement time is only 0.5 sec, and does not depend on the capacity value. To carry out measurements, it is necessary to de-energize and discharge the capacitors on the board under study.

Checking TPI/TDKS for short circuits
The presence of short-circuited turns in a pulse transformer leads to heating of the transformer and the key transistor. Now, to check the pulse transformer, it is enough to touch the winding probes and get the result. The device even detects the presence of one closed loop.
