Тут (и некоторых других Микрочиповских контроллеров) в описании - серьёзная неточность. Заявлено: программной памяти 3,5К, но в даташите указано 2048 слов программной памяти, т.е. 2К. Но никак не 3,5! То, что эти слова - 13-битные, сути не меняет, т.к. их всё равно 2048. Это очень важный момент, в большой степени влияющий на выбор контроллера для проекта.

  2048 14-ти битных слов = 28672 бит
  в байтах это 28672/8=3584 байта
  в килобайтах это 3584/1024=3,5 кБ ровно
