The fingertip version of the multimeter assumes its use for the installation and repair of equipment by electricians and adjusters directly at the facilities.
These handheld multimeters have two measurement modes: auto scan and traditional manual measurement.
To work in the automatic scanning mode, it is enough to set the switch to one of two positions: voltage measurement (the multimeter itself will determine the DC or AC), and the other for other measurements (resistance, capacitance, diode test and ringing the circuit for an open circuit).
