The MCP1804 is a family of low dropout (LDO) CMOS voltage regulators that can deliver up to 150mA but draw only 50μA (typical 1.8 = Uout = 5.0V). Input voltage range from 6.3V to 28.0V. The MCP1804 is capable of delivering 100 mA at only 1300 mV (typical) from input to output differential voltage. The deviation of the output voltage of the MCP1804 at +25°C is no more than ±2%. For stable operation, 0.1 μF capacitors of any type must be installed at the input and output (ceramic, tantalum or aluminum electrolytic capacitors can be used). The shutdown function (SHDN) allows you to control the operation of the stabilizer. When turned off, the MCP1804 consumes 0.01 μA of current.
