The module is an atmospheric pressure sensor and a thermometer. It is built on the Bosch BMP180 microchip, which replaced the BMP085 chip. Altitude is determined by converting pressure and temperature data - the digital barometric pressure and temperature module is used as an altimeter.
Each BMP180 is factory calibrated. As a result, the calibration coefficients are written to ROM. Has an I2C interface. The measured values ​​of pressure and temperature are transmitted via the serial data bus of the digital barometer-thermometer. Altitude is calculated according to the method described in the documentation of the BMP180 microcircuit. The number of measurements per second can reach 128. Usually the sensor is used in the mode of one measurement per second. This increases accuracy and saves current consumption. The sensor can measure atmospheric pressure with varying accuracy. The required measurement accuracy is communicated to the sensor by a microcontroller. It is important to set the delay correctly in the program before reading the data registers. BMP180 corresponds to the BMP085 chip in terms of data processing software. It can be used in devices based on Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM, etc.

      Ответил Вам на почту. В кратце: разница в геометрических размерах, и то что у 024412 есть на борту стабилизатор на 3.3В с возможностью подключать доп. маломощные устройства до 100мА с пина 3.3V.
