Thermally conductive double-sided tape is used in cases where the radiator cannot be attached using screw connections to remove heat from the element. The range of applications for heat-conducting tape is very wide. Very often, it is used to glue a line of LEDs (LCD) to aluminum profiles, providing good heat dissipation and, as a consequence, an increase in the service life of the LEDs. Also, sometimes it becomes necessary to remove heat from elements in devices already in operation with the help of additional radiators, and double-sided adhesive heat-conducting tape is perfect as a bonding element. In terms of its thermal conductivity, this tape is better than the well-known KPT-8 thermal paste. For comparison: the thermal conductivity of KPT-8 is 0.65 W/m * K, the thermal conductivity of this tape is 0.93 W/m * K. Excellent adhesion of the adhesive layer ensures reliable retention of the glued surfaces.
